CDL Supply Driver
Olathe, CO โ†” Front Range Colorado
CDL Required $28 โ€“ $32 / hr Seasonal ยท ~8 weeks

You’ll be the backbone of the operation โ€” hauling fresh-picked Olathe Sweet Sweet Corn from our farm in Olathe out to the Front Range to supply our two tour trucks. Trip frequency varies week to week based on crop volume and customer demand. When corn isn’t moving, there may be opportunities to assist with other hauls including peaches from Palisade. No two weeks are exactly the same.

  • Drive refrigerated trailer loads of sweet corn from Olathe to Front Range drop points
  • Cross-dock with tour trucks and assist with reloading at tour stops as needed
  • Maintain cold chain integrity โ€” monitoring temps and load condition
  • Assist with peach hauling from Palisade and other loads as company needs dictate
  • Keep accurate trip logs and communicate schedule changes proactively
  • Valid Class A or B CDL in good standing
  • Current DOT medical certificate
  • Clean MVR โ€” no DUIs, no reckless driving in past 5 years
  • Experience hauling refrigerated or perishable loads preferred
  • Comfortable with mountain driving and I-70 corridor in all conditions
  • Flexible availability โ€” trip schedule is crop and demand dependent
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Tour Truck Driver โ€” 2 positions
Truck 1: WY / NM / CO South  ยท  Truck 2: Front Range North
No CDL Required $22 โ€“ $26 / hr Seasonal ยท July 22 โ€“ Sept 14

This is a road trip with a purpose. You’ll drive a 22-foot refrigerated box truck on a set weekly route, stopping at host locations โ€” feed stores, fairgrounds, hardware stores, restaurants โ€” where customers are already waiting. You set up, sell, and break down at each stop. You’re the face of Tuxedo Corn in every town you visit, so people skills matter as much as driving skills. This is not a drop-and-go delivery job โ€” you own every aspect of the stop.

Wyoming (Cheyenne, Laramie), New Mexico (Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Vegas NM), Southern Colorado (Trinidad, Canon City, Fountain, Firestone, Centennial, Aurora, Parker, Castle Rock, Security, Colorado Springs, Falcon)

Front Range North โ€” Thornton, Westminster, Brighton, Commerce City, Windsor, Fort Collins, Loveland, Lafayette, Fort Lupton, Greeley, Fort Morgan, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Longmont, Broomfield

  • Drive a 22-ft refrigerated box truck on a set weekly multi-stop route
  • Arrive at each host location, set up the sales area, and manage the stop
  • Sell corn directly to customers โ€” cash and card transactions
  • Handle end-of-day cash reconciliation and reporting
  • Communicate with host contacts and maintain good relationships
  • Restock from supply driver or cross-dock point as needed
  • Keep the truck clean, cold, and organized throughout the day
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing โ€” no CDL required
  • Proven experience driving large vehicles (box trucks, sprinters, RVs, or similar)
  • Customer-facing or direct sales experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with cash handling and basic daily reconciliation
  • Early starts โ€” some stops begin setup as early as 9:30 AM
  • Available Tuesday through Sunday for the full season
  • Self-directed and reliable โ€” you’ll be running your route independently
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

๐ŸŒ„ What to expect this season

  • 8 weeks on the road, mostly in Colorado with some Wyoming and New Mexico travel
  • Physical work โ€” loading, unloading, and managing corn boxes in summer heat
  • Monday is a no-sale day; Tuesday through Sunday are active
  • You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team โ€” communication and reliability are everything
  • Season length is crop-dependent โ€” we aim for July 22 to approximately September 14
  • This is a seasonal position with no guarantee of year-round employment
